Bike Fixing Club

Overview

Started a bike fixing club to teach students bike maintenance using unused school tools, while giving back to the community.

Organization

Partnered with local bike shops for donations and secured a community grant for supplies. Each student worked on a broken bike over several weeks, learning maintenance skills, and kept the bike they fixed along with a helmet and lock.

Results

Gave away 20 fixed bikes to students in need over a year and a half.
